| Makatini : KwaZulu Natal | Irrigation. The Makatini Irrigation Scheme is the largest scheme in South Africa formed by emerging farmers. Our activities included the planning, design and construction supervision of some 1360 ha of irrigation subdivided into 10ha plots and served by two pump stations of 2.5 MW installed capacity each.
